Life in the crazy lane
Do you ever wonder why life just speeds up without warning?
Why do we have to think through a million decisions in an hour.
When did ordering a cup of coffee get so complicated?
I don't know.
But one thing I do know. Life is full of goodness. Full of color and life and passion. When you start to lose your vibrancy, just stick close to someone who is pressing on. They're liveliness will rub off on you and pretty soon you'll be up an running again.
Until then, there's the joy of hope. Real hope. Everlasting hope that is being fulfilled today and will be fulfilled in the days when Christ returns to the Earth.
We are pilgrims in this life and I must remember that. For when I do, nothing phases me. No tests nor storms nor trials of any kind will disturb my soul.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever... Hebrews 6:19-20a
I'm praising God for deep, beautiful friendships, hospitality and good Chik-fil-A coffee this morning.
