About Facing Glory

I am learning that it takes time to see God's glory. It is always there, but when I write I tend to look for it more. And so I write this blog. It's simple, thoughtful and a glimpse of the journey I'm on. I enjoy hearing your ideas, so comment freely.
Love, Lindsay

Today

Thomas Moore : To live ordinary life artfully is to have this sensibility about the things in daily life, to live more intuitively and to be willing to surrender a measure of our rationality and control in return for gifts of the soul.

Candid Candyland

So far this has been just a lovely break.
Lots of hot tea.
Lots of sleeping in.
Lots of cooking from scratch.
Lots of love.

Anywho, I wanted to share just a few photos of the goodness...

Here you see human replicas of the original Candyland game pieces at the Austin Trail of Lights.

Meet Tex. He's a friend's new Australian Shepherd puppy that we got to watch for a few days. Such fun!
This is the back porch. I got to just sit on the porch. So good.
I'll leave you with the lyrics of a hymn that made my heart happy yesterday.

Would you be free from your burden of sin?
There's pow'r in the blood, pow'r in the blood;
Would you o'er evil a victory win?
There's wonderful pow'r in the blood.
Ther is pow'r pow'r, wonderworking pow'r
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is pow'r pow'r, wonder-working pow'r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
It is true. Have a lighthearted day friends because you can rest in the pow'r of Jesus.

p.s. I'm leaving for California tomorrow! Prayers, stow-a-ways and travel tips welcome.
